I build systems — databases, distributed machinery, and the unglamorous plumbing that keeps software upright under load. This is where I keep notes on that work and the ideas that escape its boundaries.

I made this because the usual containers never quite fit. A portfolio flattens a person into deliverables; a feed makes everything equally disposable. I wanted a quieter place for essays, technical notes, photographs, and unfinished observations.

Posts appear chronologically on the homepage and collect naturally under tags. The structure stays deliberately small so the writing remains the main event.

How to read it

Wander, don't sprint. Start with the latest piece or choose a tag and move sideways. Once you're reading, everything else gets out of the way; longer pieces are set for comfort, not for show.

Colophon

Text is set in Spectral, with IBM Plex Mono for navigation and metadata. The blue-and-white palette borrows from qinghua porcelain. The site is built with Astro and published as static files so it stays fast and durable.
